Multifamily Industry Links Up at Annual Golf Classic

This past Wednesday, September 11, the St. Louis Apartment Association (SLAA) hosted their annual Golf Classic at Tapawingo National Golf Club. The weather conditions were perfect to enjoy a beautiful day of golfing alongside their multifamily peers! This year’s tournament ‘SOLD OUT” in record time! Thank you to the over 300 attendees - consisting of supplier partners, sponsors, industry colleagues, and 216 golfers and guests – who supported the 2024 SLAA Golf Classic! 

Breakfast, beverages, snacks, box lunches, and even a golfer gift were distributed when the golfers arrived to check in on Wednesday morning. Promptly, at the10:00 am tee-time, over 100 golf carts rolled out to the three courses for a great day of golfing, eating, drinking, and some much-needed networking time.      

SLAA’s generous hole sponsors pulled out all the stops with plenty of food, beverages, games, and more on the course throughout the day.  The courtesy cart sponsors drove around the course during the tournament and provided golfers with snacks, bottled water, and soft drinks, and even cigars. 

SLAA topped off the evening with a delicious awards dinner, featuring great food, friends, and a slide show of highlights. As part of this year’s Golf Classic, SLAA sold raffle tickets and collected donations for Responder Rescue. Representatives from Responder Rescue attended the dinner, as guests of SLAA, to tell attendees more about their fantastic organization. Thanks to the incredible generosity of the attendees and members, SLAA was able to present Responder Rescue with a check for $2,000 to help support their mission of providing assistance; emotional, tangible or monetary, to any area first responders, who have been injured, become ill or suffered a traumatic situation after all other resources have been exhausted.  The evening concluded with announcing the tournament winners and giving out cash prizes.
